Drawing in the Spring

6 weeks of Drawing Workshops at Out of the Blue Drill Hall, Dalmeny Street, Edinburgh, EH6 8RG

Monday 22nd April to Monday 27th May, 6.00pm - 8.30pm

Ages 18+. Limited to 8 participants. £25 for pay-as-you-go, or £120 for all 6 sessions when you block-book.

All drawing & painting resources & equipment will be provided.

How these workshops will run:

Each workshop will focus on a particular material or materials. We will explore how those materials can be used to make marks, and do drawing exercises to explore the different ways of seeing. There will then be a main creative activity around a Spring-based theme, with time to review and explore avenues for development.

Each workshop will have a different Spring-based theme and will use different materials. Each workshop will be a stand-alone event and will assume no prior knowledge or experience.

There is zero pressure in these workshops, and the main objective is to have fun.

What to wear: With any art materials, there is always a risk of getting marks on your clothes, so please don’t wear your best crisp white shirt or anything you would be upset to get dirty.
